The Infinite Possibility of Self-Improvement
I have never competed with other people… It just never occurred to me…I only compete with myself, with my standards. How to do better the next time, how to work well.
Introduction Section
About Achieve Education Group
The Achieve Education Group (AEG) is dedicated to harnessing the infinite possibility of self-improvement. We know that there is no such thing as an “achievement gap”—there is only the gap between who you are today, and who you are becoming… Therefore, we work in concert with key stakeholders throughout the K-12 education space to co-design pragmatic solutions to problems of practice that impact student outcomes and teacher performance. Together, we are driving improvements that transform education systems with an intentional focus on variation, proportionality, and coherence in the implementation of evidence-based interventions.
We envision K-12 education systems as incubators of excellence where students are cultivated, not trained, by teachers who foster critical thinking and interdisciplinary literacy. By leveraging strategic investments in the development of Beloved Learning Community Schools (BLCS), we are reimagining the future of K-12 education in ways that integrate Relational and Artificial Intelligences to promote human flourishing.
At AEG, we are bridging the gap between the mediocre and the miraculous; expedience and excellence; mere proficiency and meritocratic prowess. We expect greatness from every student and teacher engaged in the life-long journey of education because attitude and attunement determine altitude and achievement.

What We Believe | The 5 Principles Of Self-improvement
If necessity is the mother of invention, then audacity is the father of continuous self-improvement. Our solutions-oriented and Disparate Impact Data (DID)-Driven approach to K-12 education systems transformation emphasizes and encourages adoption of the following core values as binding agreements between students and teachers in the compact for educational excellence:
The 5 Principles of Self-Improvement
Prioritize Knowledge of Self and Self-Improvement
Never compete with others—only compete with yourself.

The 5 Principles of Self-Improvement
Be the Standard of Success
Cultivate a growth mentality, and assume the center by thinking of yourself less, not thinking less of yourself. The mind is infinite and so is your potential.
The 5 Principles of Self-Improvement
Define Your Reality
Dedicate yourself to becoming the best version of yourself by leveraging the power of self-determination because personal agency shapes collective destiny.

The 5 Principles of Self-Improvement
Always Remember Your Worth and Recognize Your Value
Your potential is infinite… The only limit is your imagination. Never diminish yourself to accommodate others or accept another person’s perception of you. Be the author of your own story—the subject of your own dream. ǣǥ
The 5 Principles of Self-Improvement
Evolve to Solve Problems
Commit to becoming a problem solver by asking yourself the simple question: “What problem(s) do I want to solve?” Then cultivate the “positive obsession” of solving problems by thinking about them in equally creative and critical ways that others do not.

Our Philosophy
The Big 10 Solutions, Products, And Services
21st Century Professional Learning
From the use of Artificial and Relational Intelligence to Engage Students (ARIES) to Social, Emotional, and Academic Learning (SEAL)—AEG provides educators with dynamic professional learning opportunities that prepare them to successfully navigate and manage the 21st Century classroom. Our approach to teacher education leverages the combined import of pedagogical theory, innovative technology, evidence-based research, and best policy-in-practice to transform schools into incubators of achievement that accelerate student learning, amplify effective teaching, and attune school leaders to the critical interventions that matter most in scaling the science of school (and self) improvement.
High Quality Instructional Material (HQIM), Curriculum Development, Evaluation, and Implementation
Our Curriculum Development Lab (CDL) utilized the very best in cutting-edge Applied Interdisciplinary Research (AIR) to develop, scope, and sequence rigorous HQIM and curricula. We maintain a laser-like focus on the Science of Reading, Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), and fast-evolving trends in STEM fields that drive Career Technical Education (CTE) and workforce development opportunities linked to economic growth. As a result, our clients and partner schools are well positioned to support comprehensive literacy and college and career readiness.
Comprehensive Audit for Alignment of Curriculum, Instruction, + Assessment (CIA)
Through the intentional alignment of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment (CIA), our school partners ensure systemic coherence—enabling students to achieve measurable outcomes that reflect targeted interventions and investments. At AEG, we support district-level success by providing comprehensive CIA audits that promote vertical and horizontal alignment, performance-based incentive implementation, and overall coherence across systems that enables administrators to demonstrate Return-On-Investment (ROI) to key stakeholders. Moreover, we co-design, develop, and implement program impact evaluations that measure growth in student achievement outcomes for data-informed decision-makers.
Grant Writing and Comprehensive Post-Award Management
AEG affords school and district partners the opportunity to leverage grant funding in ways the drive school improvement by managing the life-cycle of grant funding from writing and implementing to reporting and conducting impact evaluations. Our Grants Management Team (GMT) has successfully leveraged over $100M in grant funding to support school districts nationwide—enabling school partners to save time and money while building capacity in under resourced areas.
Instructional Coaching for Holistic Best Practice
Over the past 25 years, students and teachers have experienced numerous societal challenges with far-reaching affects inside and outside the classroom. Overcoming these challenges requires a compassionate and nuanced approach to instruction that emphasizes the whole student. By adopting a holistic approach to education, teachers and school leaders can more effectively meet student where they are and support their long-term growth. By privileging a biopsychosocial lens of analysis, AEG supports educators in navigating the most common mental health challenges confronting students and teachers today—serving as a catalyst and a connector of vital resources, services, and supports to promote overall health and well-being.
Net Impact Analytics (NIA), Applied Interdisciplinary Research (AIR), + Disparate Impact Data-Driven Visualization for Actionable Decision-Making
At AEG, we understand and leverage the power of actionable data to drive decision-making. Therefore, we utilize information science, data visualization, and real-time analytic dashboards to provide key stakeholders with data that informs best practice, policy, and, ultimately, documents the net impact of evidence-based interventions in driving student achievement, mitigating chronic absenteeism, and supporting teacher efficacy.
Variation Learning + Comprehensive Literacy Program Development
Building on the Variation Theory of Learning and the Science of Reading, AEG designs, develops, and implements instructional protocols that support teacher development—effectively bridging the gap between theory and practice in ways that empower professional teachers to hone their craft by focusing on pedagogy and student engagement rather than administrative tasks, excessive classroom management, and/or attendance monitoring.
Student Engagement and School Culture Policy Advising
At AEG, we know what a thriving learning community looks like. That’s why we’ve invested significant time and resources into developing case studies that provide the evidentiary basis for making decisive, impactful school turnaround policy recommendations. Our K-12 Systems Transformation Framework (KSTF) has a proven track record of successfully shifting the trajectory of schools identified for emergency intervention by State Departments of Education. In fact, our approach equips school leaders with the tools and skills necessary to (re)define school culture and climate, while simultaneously empowering teachers to become classroom thermostats through the implementation of proactive student engagement strategies that leverage technology to support instructional best practices informed by responsive and student-centered pedagogy.
MTSS Strategic Leadership Consulting and Human Talent Management Systems
Finally, AEG utilizes Multi-tiered System Supports and Human Talent Management Systems to ensure that schools and districts are prepared to overcome the challenges posed by the National Teacher Shortage. By prioritizing teacher induction, recruitment, retention, onboarding, professional learning, and registered apprenticeships in education, AEG tackles the most urgent pitfalls in K-12 education upstream, rather than waiting for them to negatively impact student achievement outcomes. Our MTSS and HTMS models provide capacity-building support for school leaders at critical points in the school performance pipeline, resulting in wraparound efficiency improvements from A to Z.
